Urine Trouble: Greenville Woman Accused of Assaulting with Bodily Waste
Published June 7, 2025 • Urine the News
In a headline that feels more like satire than small-town crime reporting, a woman in Greenville, North Carolina is facing assault charges after allegedly using an unexpected — and unhygienic — weapon: human waste.
According to WCTI News 12, 50-year-old Darice Lenall Daniels was arrested on June 4 after she allegedly threw a mix of urine and feces at both a 7-year-old child and an adult. The charges include simple assault and assault on a child under 12.
The incident reportedly occurred on June 1, though Daniels wasn’t arrested until three days later on West 3rd Street. While the specific circumstances surrounding the attack remain unclear, the allegations are serious enough to land Daniels in Pitt County Court on September 11. She has been released on a $5,000 bond.
Bodily Harm, Literally
Assault cases involving bodily fluids are rare but not unheard of, and they often raise legal and ethical questions about public health, intent, and the psychological wellbeing of those involved. This case is particularly disturbing due to the involvement of a young child and the nature of the alleged act.
While the court will ultimately determine the facts, the use of waste as a weapon is an alarming twist in any altercation — and a biohazard risk on top of everything else.
Awaiting the Flush of Justice
Daniels is expected to appear at the Pitt County Courthouse on September 11. Until then, the case serves as a grim reminder that not all assault charges stem from fists or firearms — sometimes, they come from the bathroom.
