Urine Trouble? Elon Musk’s Ketamine Use Allegedly Caused Bladder Damage
By Urine the News Staff | Published May 30, 2025
Elon Musk is no stranger to headlines, but the latest allegations are striking for both their detail and their, well, bodily specificity. According to a report from The Times, sources claim Musk took so much ketamine during the 2024 presidential campaign that it damaged his bladder.
The world’s richest man allegedly mixed ketamine with other substances including ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms at private events in the U.S. and abroad. Some sources even cited his behavior as "erratic" and "emotionally unstable" in the lead-up to Donald Trump’s re-election — a campaign Musk reportedly backed with $288 million.
Musk, 53, has spoken openly about using ketamine to manage depression, stating in a previous interview with Don Lemon, “If you use too much ketamine, you can’t really get work done.” Around the time of Trump's narrow survival from an attempted assassination in Pennsylvania, Musk allegedly told friends his ketamine use was “damaging his bladder.”
The report also says Musk carried around pill packaging labeled as Adderall and made controversial gestures at public appearances, including one during Trump’s inauguration that resembled a Nazi salute — something that raised eyebrows across political and corporate circles.
Despite these allegations, Musk brushed off the New York Times article when questioned at a joint appearance with Trump on Friday, quipping, “Is that the same publication that got a Pulitzer Prize for false reporting on Russiagate?” and urging reporters to “move on.”
Musk recently stepped down from his role leading the Department of Government Efficiency (Doge), a federal initiative he helmed under Trump. Critics had pointed to reputational damage to his companies, including SpaceX and Tesla, due to his behavior and the growing scrutiny around his conduct.
According to the Times, friends and executives at Musk’s companies have previously raised concerns about his drug use, especially given his top-secret security clearance via SpaceX. Reports indicate he was often given advance notice of drug testing procedures.
For now, Musk continues to deny wrongdoing — but the allegations surrounding his drug use, erratic conduct, and yes, urine-related side effects, have launched a public debate on health, leadership, and the blurred lines between Silicon Valley and D.C.
